External Representation, Policy and Advocacy 15 Build strong relationships with government ministries, international and national NGOs, UN agencies, other development partners and academic institutions working on health nutrition, ensuring that Save the Children is valued as a key technical resource and is contributing effectively to joint learning, analysis and advocacy initiatives Represent Save the Children at key sectoral and subsectoral meetings, including relevant clusters during emergencies, thereby supporting the development of Save the Childrens reputation as a leading health nutrition agency in Myanmar In collaboration with the Communications and Advocacy team and other colleagues, lead efforts to identify key health and nutrition change objectives, build an evidence base, and influence health and nutrition policy and practice in Myanmar Support Save the Children Myanmars engagement with global Save the Children campaigns and advocacy initiatives specific to health and nutrition.4. Management and Capacity Building 15 Manage and supervise PDQ health nutrition staff, ensuring ongoing and effective performance management Identify and support professional development and career growth opportunities for health and nutrition staff, and provide mentoring support where appropriate In close collaboration with the respective Heads of Programmes, develop essential technical competency capacity strengthening checklists for health and nutrition programme managers, and develop and or support capacity development plans for health and nutrition staff across the country programme Supervise consultants, researchers or other shortterm staff hired for specific quality, policy or research activities Support health and nutrition teams in identifying and supporting civil society partners, including partner assessmentrisk analysis, capacity building planning, and technical support.5.Child Safeguarding Responsibilities: Ensure that your staff is providing all beneficiaries of your programme with ongoing, ageappropriate verbal or written information in relevant languages about Save the Childrens Child Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct.
