Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support when needed Work closely with departmental managers to determine the maintenance and growth needs of the network Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness for the IT department Monitors network utilization and performance, implements procedures for network optimization, reliability, and availability Develop and execute disaster procedures, and maintain enterprise data backups and recovery procedures Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization Responsible for creating and administering disaster plans that will keep the company functional in the event of a crisis Troubleshoot and resolve user issues relative to all corporate software in a timely manner Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time Analyze department needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency and accuracy to inform business decisions
